Matt Eaton - Robotics and Makerspace Specialist
Maker, Robotics Engineer, Author, Educator

Hello, my name is Matt Eaton. I am an innovative and skilled Maker, Author, Educator, and Robotics Engineer with extensive experience in robotics systems design and engineering education. My expertise lies in hardware-software integration, mobile robotics, ROS-based system development, and advancing Engineering and Makerspace Education.

With a unique combination of Art and Design training alongside an MS in Intelligent Robotic Systems Engineering, I have cultivated a strong foundation in cutting-edge robotics and engineering tools. This interdisciplinary background equips me to support students, as well as engineering and educational organizations, in a wide range of creative and technical projects.

As an educator, makerspace program director, and educational robotics entrepreneur, I have developed the hands-on expertise required to manage dynamic and fast-paced engineering environments of all shapes and sizes. My career has been dedicated to supporting and advancing the field of engineering education. I have had the privilege of teaching in robotics labs, traditional classrooms, and university makerspaces. These experiences have shown me the transformative power of STEM, art, and design education in inspiring and empowering students to reach their full potential!
